So i got myself the Radeon V540 because im not sure really, ill find a use but i got myself the windows drivers and fixed the pcie bus bridge error (or well only tested it on one of the GPUs since cant , now my only real issue is cooling, any ideas how to do this for a cheapish way and efficiently without making myself deaf?

have a feeling a new Case maybe needed since this Pop Air is a little too small.

If noise is a concern then that pretty much rules out axial fans- Larger case fans won’t provide enough pressure and smaller high static pressure fans would get deafeningly loud for something that would sit on or near your desk.

I think your best bet would be to go with a blower though space would be a concern. I’m personally using an optiplex 9010 fan (around $10 on ebay) on a Tesla M40, but with the fan mounted underneath the card and a 3d printed shroud/duct connecting them the card is about 4 slots thick, which you don’t seem to have the space for.

You might be able to get away with this case if you use a thinner fan from something like an AIO pc, but noise and airflow might be a concern there.

Quick update:

Took a 7000rpm blower off one of my spare server coolers and now it’s forcing air through the card and doing a good job although now very very loud.

If you’re not making noise, you’re not moving air. You could try using some inline speed reducers to drop the voltage down a bit.
