Quick upgrade to an annoying APU

So my GF has an A10-5800k system and its pretty OK but theres two things that have been driving me absolutely crazy. the first is that it doesnt have a dedicated graphics card. I know it doesnt need one thats the point of an APU but every time i look inside the case and see those empty slots I die a little inside. She doesnt need to compete with the next gen consoles or anything she plays mostly lower key games...and skyrim. lots of skyrim. so I was thinking maybe just throwing a 7770 or 7850 in there just to ease my obsession and let her play minecraft and skyrim with some of the more flashy texture packs. does anybody know where im going to get the most bang for my buck as far as graphics upgrades for her without going ove rthe $150 mark?

the other problem is that its still using the stock cooler. it hasnt had any heating problems or anything and stays at a bearable temperature but it is ridiculously stupid loud. like sometimes have to raise my voice to speak over this stupid thing loud. so Id like to get her a new cooler as well. the problem is she transports her computer from her dorm to my house every weekend and to her fathers house every vacation so she needs a pretty low profile cooler and all the ones i could find are absolutely mobo breakingly huge. so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd pick the HD7850 unless the PSU is an issue.

The Noctua NH-L9a is a good, quietish lowprofile cpu cooler but is a bit on the pricy side I feel. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhl9a

It shouldent be that loud. I had a system with a A10-5700 in it and i could barley hear it when no other noise was happening, granted it was under my desk but still. if you didnt have your ear right up to the side of the case it was silent

with those specific cards i would pick the 650ti due to the extra 1GB of VRAM

7850 or a 7790. spend a little on a cpu cooler and oc that apu as well to get the most out of it.

I have two apu systems in the house now, one fore media center/steam box, and the other for my girlfriends new computer for christmas. the noise isn't consistent. they are not the same apu, however the difference in noise is ridiculous, the media center runs hot as hell. hers is nice and cool and quite.

this is budget, but it works...  for cooler..   I had an old phenom II heatsink laying around, throw that on there if you have one. the new heatsinks for those things suck period. anything other than the stock will be an improvement.

ya I think im going with the 7850. the psu shouldnt be an issue since it used to power my 7950 and I7 setup.  thanks for the cooler suggestion. I think that might be what i go for.
