Hope this isn’t out of place. I’m working with a small team that’s trying to set up a community-first giveaway for a NAS brand. The idea is to give active forum members a chance to win a unit — not for marketing or ads — but in exchange for sharing a genuine review based on their personal setup or workflow.
There’s no payment, no sponsorship, and the brand doesn’t get to edit or approve the reviews. It’s just a way to surface practical use cases from folks who actually know what they’re doing. If the giveaway works here, we’d be happy to post it for mod review first and follow any rules required.
Would this kind of thing be allowed on the forum? And if so, is there someone I could check with before sharing any details?
