Question on Nvidia P106 cards

Good morning all,

I am a total newbie when it comes to servers and such so I thought I would bring my inquiry to all of you.

Is it possible to use a card like an Nvidia P106 for hardware encoding in a media/plex server? Thoughts?

Plex uses NVENC for nvidia gpu encoding, right?

I don’t think the P106-100 has an NVENC encoding module, although it might just be locked down, see link below-
