Anyone using the new video codec sponsored by Valve?
It should be available on Steam beta clients.
I’ve been seeing lots of people misinterpreting it as a replacement for AV1or h26{4,5} but its more like a replacement for NVENC and AMF. And like NVENC and AMF Pyrowave can carry AV1 or h26{4,5}.
Its meant to be used on wired network as it goes full blast up to 500mbp/s.
Curious to hear results.
