Psu recommendations

Just out of curiosity, what symptoms are exhibited that lead you to knowing that the PSU is the fault? What sort of testing do you do?

There is a self test button on the psu, used that and it fails and this https://forum.teksyndicate.com/t/pc-will-not-boot/106927/46

Delta stuff is tight. Bummer they only make OEM stuff. I've run a old Radeon 4850/Xeon machine on a el-cheapo 460w delta from an old HP server for ages and is stable as a rock foundation till' this day! She has also powered other machines for testing purposes.

Yes, Delta is almost only in Enterprise/Server stuff. As mentioned, really only in some[1] of Antec PSUs for consumers. Was kinda surprised to see their 1300W unit over at caseking.de for only €270, that's not a bad price for that unit. Would buy that in a heartbeat if I was in a market for a PSU. It has four 12V rails, but every rail is by itself capable of 50A (not all four at the same time ofc) so it's unlikely to limit anything.

I've had a Delta made Antec Earthwatts in a server for years. And it was kinda cheap too.

1: There are lists with what model is what maker, but I remember that Antec Earthwatts for the low wattage is Delta and for high wattage Delta makes Antec High Current Gamer/Pro.

What about Fractal Design?

They are rebrand, just like most overpraised and overpriced brands.
There are like 4-5 manufacturers, and all others are rebranded models from those 5 manufacturers. This is why I love Seasonic and FSP. They are manufacturers. EVGA, Corsair, Fractal, Cooler Master, etc are rebranded PSUs.

If you aren't in the US I would recommend looking into SuperFlower as they are extremely reliable. If you go with a SuperFlower, EVGA, Seasonic, or XFX you'll no doubt get a great PSU. I left a link below that might help you choose an exact model.
