PSU question

I'm building a pc, which includes a radeon 7870. The manufacturer recomends a 500w, but the psu calc on Cooler Master recomends just over 350 watt. I was going to buy a 430watt, because that's the cheapest modular one I can find.

My parts:

AMD A10-6800K

MSI FM2-A75IA-E53

Crucial Sport 8gb 1866

Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHZ edition

1 WD blue hard drive, 1tb

Some slop of a dvd/cd drive

Cooler Master gemini slim cooler thing...(forgot the exact parts #)

Cooler Master Elite 120

(AND I DON'T WANT ANY FRIGGEN CRAP ABOUT USING THE A10!)

I'd use a 550w just to be sure. But a 430w would be fine.

And you're absolutly sure that the 430w would be ok

430 will be fine. I usually use 500W PSUs for all single-GPU systems but 430W is also fine, you just get less overhead.

I would grab a decent 550W. The price difference is usually small, and the larger power supply will be great for high-tier GPUs. It's a better long term investment, in my opinion.
