Heya guys.
I just have a little question for you. It has been bugging me for a while now and just want more than my own opinion on this.
So- Do you think, that the FX-8350 is a bit overpriced compared to 3570K when it comes to (mainly gaming) performance? In my local HW store I can get the FX for around 180€ while the 3570K follows very close with the price tag of 206€.
And another question for you is- Is it even worth looking at 8350 for a gaming rig with that little price difference between those two?

Ok, I would say that for gaming, the 8350 is overpriced, but you can do so much more on a computer, that overall, its not.
Infact, I would say that the 8350 is underpriced, compared to intel processors. The thing is, most people don't do the things that play into the FX series. Most programs are not multithreaded to an extent that it is usefull to have 8 cores.
The IPC on the i5 just blows the 8350 away, but when it comes to pure power, the 8350 actually wins.
The i5 is much more powerful per core so it is better for gaming as games use less cores, but in multi thearded apps the fx will be much better as it has more less powerful cores.
