Avatar's not an anime, silly.
They're all cartoons, as in drawn and colored frame by frame. And, by Japan's standards, Avatar, is, unequivocally, Anime because they call every show that's drawn and colored (including western cartoons), Anime, over there. It's only the westerners that try to define these trivial matters...like only Asian people can cosplay anime characters, or like westerners bitching about Scarlett Johansson casting as Major when the creator of the Manga and most of Japan thinks it's ok.
Oh I know, I agree. I was only trying to make a joke (that it's less of an anime than Cory in the House) because the whole Avatar anime thing is a heavily debated subject. I do think people make too big a deal out of it.
