Port multiplier - Dumb Question

Hi I'm Going to ask a Dumb Question about Port multipliers.
I Have a FM2A75M-ITX R2.0 and it got A75 Chipset which Wikipedia say it supports PMP assuming this is correct
I guess I can use a Port Multiplier.

I Running Server 2008 R2, it just runs only runs Plex Now.

So I can use This right?

As the wiki linked to eludes to, there are multiple switching methods for port multiplying. The problem with the card linked is it doesn't state what type of switching it is capable of.

It could support one or the other. So it literally could or could not work. At that price I would just try it tbh.
