I just acquired a Polycom HDX 7000 video conference system for free. The client who gave it to me never used it once since it required a similar system on the receiving end. The camera is really nice so I feel bad just throwing it away. Anybody know of any cool mods to do to this thing?
They’re completely proprietary, so repurposing the camera isn’t likely unless you do some hard core hardware hacking.
They can talk to other video and audio systems, not sure if you have need for that. Could look at selling it, they’re popular in government.
