Hey Guys,
So I’ve been experimenting with Proxmox recently, wanting to move my Plex Server from my NAS to my old gaming rig / new homelab-server. I’m fairly new to linux but followed some guides and managed to get my GPU passed through to the Plex LXC Container.
The Problem is: I cannot get the Plex Server to use hardware transcoding properly. when I play a video with “convert automatically” it uses hw trancoding but at a weird 10 GBps, and when I switch to 720p 4 Mbps for testing , it doesnt use hw-trancodes anymore. It keeps buffering endlessly but no playback is happening. Anyone got any Ideas what I did wrong?
Proxmox: 8.3.0
Plex: 1.41.2.9200
GPU in Question: GTX 1070
