Pfsense set up issues

So i watched the Video on pfsense a few months back, and wanted to build one for fun. To set up in my new house and have everything wired into it, but I'm having a odd issue here once i install pfsense from the usb stick onto a ssd i dont set the vlan and i set the wan to re0 on my mother board i pick domain and everything and i set password i reload and it wont load at all i just get a page not found or i get into the web interface and i click to assign something like the wifi and then i get page not found is any one else having or has had this issue or could help me out with setting it up. Yes i'm new to the forum been watching these guys for the last year and finally decided to join. i have my home network set up with the pfsense box plugged into my router and my two pcs are wired to the router as well tried on both same issue happens.

hardware in the build:
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+/FM2 mATX AMD Motherboard
AMD A10-7850K Black Edition Boxed Processor ( sale from microcenter with motherboard)
8 gig corsair vengeance ram (left from gaming pc)
TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter (for wifi)
and 2 Dell YT674 0YT674 Intel Pro 1000VT Quad Port Gigabit PCI E Ethernet Network Card ( for wired Network)
Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

What looks like is happening is that pfSence isn't liking the "Realtek GbE LAN chip" on the motherboard also, if you were trying to configure the router from the "Dell YT674 0YT674 Intel Pro 1000VT Quad Port Gigabit PCI E Ethernet Network Card", I noticed that they weren't listed on the pfSence/FreeBSD Hardware Compatibility List. That's possibly what could be the reason why you cant connect to the pfSence router.

This comment could be another issue if he is stating it correctly. In my mind he should temporally remove his old router from the mix and connect his WAN port on the pfSense box to his modem and at least one other computer to the LAN port on the pfSense box.

I concur that the router should be removed from the mix and use the pfsense reset option and go from there.

Thanks every one I was able to finally set up a single wan on the mother board port to single lan on one of my dell cards. You guys are awesome thanks again for the help.
