PCIe Passthrough, systemd-udevd and modprobe using up CPU juice

Hey y’all, so I recently got my MSI GS66 up and working with some sweet sweet Windows VM GPU pass-through and I really couldn’t be happier with how well this all worked out. However, I have noticed on my host machine that there are some processes running that were not before. These don’t seem specifically related to the VM but, from what I can tell, the processes are trying to figure out what is going on with the missing PCIe device. After a short time running, systemd-udevd with fully peg a thread nonstop. It also would appear that there are some modprobe processes running for “nvidia” that seem to be using some CPU cycles unnecessarily. Has anyone else run into this? How to I make it stahp?
