are these machines up to scratch, able to high end perform with high fps in all or most games?

First build will do ultra in most games with 40-60 fps at 1080p,and the second build will do ultra with 50-60 fps at 1080p.The only difference is the second build will be able to handle productivity tasks way easier since it has a octa core cpu so it really depends on what you're doing.
