Hello, I am new to setting up VMs with GPU pass through. Is there a specific way to get an igpu to work via MaOS specifically? I’m using Mac in a Box on Unraid. The OS loads fine but any attempt to select a gpu option other than virtio doesn’t even allow me to view the VM’s GUI.
Macos drivers are called kext. I assume there is no driver for a modern igpu in x86 macos since last x86 hardware supported by that is like 2020 or so. You will need to check the forums of people making Hackingtosh (running macos on non-apple hardware) to see if thet have kexts that work on that igpu. Or failing that, what hardware you can actually use on MacOS and where to source the drivers if necessary
