Parts for Windows 95 build

I was wanting to build a PC and I had some older games that I used to play, so I thought I would build a PC with Windows 95. The problem is I don't know what parts I should get.

Some of the games I'm looking to play is:

Lego Island games

Robot Arena

The Elder Scrolls: Arena

The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall

Sim City

Fallout 1 and 2

Diablo

Doom

Descent

Any help would be great. Thank you.

can you find a used pc with it already installed? that would probably be easier

Windows XP would run those games not a problem

i suggest poking around friends and family for an old rig, someone should have an ancient brick somewhere, my DOS rig is an old office computer, where i added a sound blaster i found when cleaning up someone's storage area, and they let me keep it.

if you have the choice: go for windows 98 instead of 95, its "better" for gaming.

the easiest thing to do would be to use emulation. google windows 98 on virtual machine plus some of them might actually work in compatibility mode but im not sure.

yes kevinheinrich is right go virtual machines,

better spend your time learning how to set up a virtual machine than hunting for ancient pc hardware, that will probably fail aft a short while.

I had some good results with a vitualboxed win98 on Linux to run stuff like the first C&C
