Paid project: LeechCore-style backend for KVM/QEMU VM memory introspection

Looking for a low-level Linux/KVM/QEMU developer.

I already handle the Ubuntu/Linux host, Windows VM, GPU passthrough and VFIO/IOMMU setup myself.

I only need help building a LeechCore-style DMA converter/backend for my own lab VM.

Project idea:
PC2 client connects over LAN to the Linux host.
The Linux host reads memory from my own KVM/QEMU test VM.
The converter exposes a DMA-like read API for research and testing.

Needed features:

  • read(address, size)
  • scatter read
  • memory map handling
  • caching / batching for speed
  • TCP client/server communication
  • speed test / benchmark mode
  • clean error handling
  • config file support

Preferred backend:

  • LibVMI
  • LeechCore QEMU backend
  • QEMU/KVM memory introspection

Required skills:

  • C/C++ or Rust
  • Linux low-level development
  • QEMU/KVM internals
  • LibVMI or LeechCore experience
  • Networking
  • Memory introspection
  • VFIO/IOMMU knowledge
