Overclocking G3258

Buying a g3258 and going to overclock obviously, so wondering whats going to be better a cooler master 212 evo or a corsair h60? Looking to keep it as cool as can be.

Well the Corsair would be better but it is significantly more expensive than the 212 Evo.

Personally for the $70 I'd go with a Noctua NHU-14S. It will be cooler than the H60 and vastly quieter.

I did a build for a friend. Got the CM Seidon 120V for 29 bucks. on newegg with a MIR.

His G3258 runs at 4.4GHz 1.325v and hits about 78-79 degrees. on an AsRock Z97 mITX board.

get a h80i refurb on newegg now 45$

Depends how much you want to spend. For the money the cm hyper 212 will do a great job. Otherwise look at the Nactua coolers in the same price range as the h60. They will be much quieter and cool better.
