Overclocking AMD cpu with a Nvidia gpu question

Okay so I have been wanting to overclock my cpu again for the past couple of weeks and I am not sure how to do so because I have a weird set up with the AMD apu and the Nvidia gpu.

In the past I used the AMD overdrive in CCC (back when I had a HD 6870 in my system), but it just doesn't sound right to have those AMD drivers up while I am using a Nvidia graphics card and every post that I see online about OCing an Amd processor is usually paired with an Amd gpu so I don't know how I would go about overclock my processor with my current computer set-up.

So if there are any programs you guys use to overclock please tell me about them below, I would appreciate them very much ^-^

boot into bios > increase multiplier > increase voltage as necessary > overclock it until it megahertz

boot into operating system > open any number of gpu overclocking suites > turn up all the sliders until it megahertz

You need to go through the bios

overclocking through the bios is always the best way.

i had alot of problems in the past with oc utilities, not saving some of the settings after reboot, causing instability.

well, except for gpu overclocking, you cant really do that in the bios :D
