OS notifications to Android phone

Good day to the community,

Wanted to ask such a silly thing - is there a way to forward notifications from a PC (at this point Windows, but a Linux possibility would also be a good thing) to a paired Android phone?

I know there is Microsoft’s “Your phone”, but 3 minutes of setting it up(yes, Microsoft, I indeed have a Microsoft account… and even if so, why not force me to create a @outlook mailbox while I’m at it) led me to the “haha, nopE” conclusion.

I’m coming from the simple, but yet quite good idea from “Mi Band”, where I no longer worry about missing a call or even a message from a random app, since I’ll get it replicated to my smart band (I would even go for direct PC->MiBand, but assume that device can only work with one device at a time).

Thank you in advance.

KDE Connect might be a good start.

https://kdeconnect.kde.org/

It was built as a part of the open source KDE Desktop project, but does include Windows support.

Thanks,
Seems to be the right direction, but I went by the book and had the “Notifications” plugin enabled on both sides (just to be sure). Then I tried to form a notification on Windows’ side by running some app, which generates a notification when it goes to tray, but failed to get that one sent to the phone (and this is what I’m after).
