I've been leaning towards finally making the move over to PC gaming. And, after seeing what Sony and Microsoft have to offer for the "next" gen consoles. I have decided to go ahead and take the leap. Here is what I'm thinking about running let me know what you think any thoughts would be appreciated. My budget is $1,000 don't want to really go over. This will be focused towards gaming with some coding happening on the side. Thanks for taking the time.
I did find the OS keys coming straight from the MSDN and spoke with multiple that have purchased from site or should I just buy retail?

Here's the build I'll be ordering this weekend

If you can stretch your budget, I would suggest going with an octacore processor, and 99x motherboard:

Otherwise, I think your build looks really neat. I can see that you have done a fair amount of homework on this. Though, I would replace the PSU with the XFX 550W, and replace the motherboard with the M5A97 R2.0

The XFX is better quality, and it's almost silver rated for efficiency. At >85%. Whereas the CM unit is 80%.
A better case wouldn't hurt. You could get a bit more silent operation, or a bit more air flow.
You should really be using Windows 8, as it has better multi-thread support.
Do NOT get the eXtreme PSUs. That line of PSUs use low quality components and spew out hot air like a heater. Well, at least mine did. I replaced mine with an XFX one of similar wattage, and it's been great.
Something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1VspG
CPU: FX-8350. Getting an octacore processor would be a good idea. Managed to fit this under the budget.
MOBO: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard. Stated above.
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler. The + and EVO have a 1-2c difference; it's almost negligible.
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card. The card which is pretty much the R9 280X. Cheaper.
PSU: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply. Stated above.
Just my 0.02
Sorry for the late response. I was well.. let's say inebriated when I wrote this post. LOL Just came back to the site and saw that there was responses extremely fast!! I thank you for that wish I had remembered I posted here with some caution to the build. Berserker funny that I look back now and see that I did change the Mobo to your recommendation. And, to the both of you I wish I had remembered that I posted here because I should have changed the PSU face palmed myself later down the road. Because the MOBO needed the EATX 8 pin for CPU but only had the 4+4 pin so am only running off of the 4 pin that plugged closest to CPU. I also ran into an issue with the Bios everytime I would click to go into it would get a black screen. I cleared the CMOS, pulled battery, ran with one ram, etc.. Then finally had a drink while I was sipping on that lovely knowledge extender {LOL} I thought maybe it's in a certain Resolution that this (viewing device) dosen"t cover "still waiting on monitor". Started plugging into all monitors and tv's I had low and behold the 55'' was my saviour and I was able to finish my build without anymore headaches. Brought to you from a noob builder that used common sense to accomplish his goals. Thank you for the fast fixes just my love for inebriation blocked my memory of what I did. Or, I could just blame it on the multiple TBI and PTSD diagnoses I've already received.. LOL Love the Tek and thank you for convincing me to leave the console.
