The Problem is I use a Blue Yeti X microphone and a Focusrite Scarlett SOLO Audio-Interface.
I want to connect them to the KVM switch so I can use them with my work laptop and gaming PC.
The problem is neither get detected on my gaming PC or on the laptop.
The Microphone is Micro-USB from Mic to USB-A into KVM-Switch. For the Audio-Interface it is USB-C coming from AI going into USB-A into the KVM switch.
I put both deviced into HDI slots.
I tried rebooting the KVM switch (Pulling the power cord and plugging it in again after 1 minute) and I also rebooted my PC.
Still neither get detected. I also have a wireless Keyboard from keychron with 2.4GHz reciever plugged in.
The Keyboard works just fine no problem there.
Other Notes:
I got the KVM Switch for my gaming PC and work laptop
I just tested it again with powering done both computers and powering them back up. The KVM switch can’t seem to handle me actively switching between Devices because now my keyboard also does not connect anymore via the 2.4Ghz reciever.
I found a older post where it said to connect the audio interface via usb 3 and now it works. So far really happy with the quality. The kvm handles my lg 5K2K problem free.
KVMs usually work well for keyboards and mic, but USB mics and audio interfaces can be tricky. The best solution is to plug your Yeti and Scarlett straight into each PC. Or, you could get a separate USB switch just for audio.
