Optane Vs 980 Pro for stability

I was wondering if anyone has switched to optane for workstation use I currently run a 980 pro 1TB as my boot drive on my 3970x system. I use Adobe suite and Resolve but lately in Premiere pro I get alot of issues with the program I know its been issue full of over last few years but was thinking switching to optane may help with responsiveness.

Part list of current setup 980 Pro is boot drive and program drive

optane gives you amazing low que depth and has super high endurance

Stay away from the H10 drives though, as they have half of the endurance rating of their 980 Pro counterparts. Also, depending on the size of your projects, that 32GB Optane cache will disappear quickly, and you’ll be reduced to the speeds of the QLC flash.

I was looking into the real optane stuff like the 905 or 900p.

The Endurance an IOPS make optane a great drive to do work on over regular nand. If you can stomach the price you wont be disappointed.

Would it not be overkill for a boot device? Not sure how intense Win10 cacheing is though

I mean yes and no, if you can afford it it would be probably be better exp but super expensive
