While there are still some bugs, many major problems are fixed in new rc5 from today. With a new rc every few days now we will propably see a release soon.

I like the progress that has been made. Win and Mac versions were always a hobby project. But being open source in nature, it always feels wrong if projects are limited to specific OSes.
Although I won’t ever run this (Windows-free household), it feels good to know I can just import my pool on Win And I appreciate the effort to port and maintain this. ZFS is ZFS after all and NTFS is stone age in comparison.
Microsoft should ship with ZFS by default. Keep up the good work!
OpenZFS 2.3.1 rc6 from today is a huge step forward towards a release state.
This sounds much better then trying to find a winning combo with storage spaces and the dual actuator seagate drives. If I understood, ReFS only shines when 64k format, two-way mirror cause error correction happens in real time? Maybe a 3 way mirror is required for extra parity space.
Rats, might have to pick up 3 more of those hard drives cause I think this is what I need for what I want to do.
Went down the Storage Spaces rabbit hole recently, the tiered cache sounds cool, but I want to ‘raid 0’ these 2x18 exos from within windows and Storage Spaces has disappointed.
