Ok that style is for inline text, there is another option for blocks:
Discourse really puts the Jira UX to shame hereā¦
Why canāt they just support markdown?
Itās not like non-technical people use it or something.
Iāve been asking for markdown support from those cunts for years.
But they donāt do it.
Is {{preformated text}}
even a standard or did they just make that up?
I think (((they))) {{made}} &&it up,
Honestly, the {{ makes it look like theyāre trying to do vuejs substitution.
You can set the language for proper highlight (I assume), which is a nice feature. Is there a Discourse feature for this?

Yep:
Wow, wish I knew that like 2 years ago.
I guess shell is default? sh
shell
and bash
resulted in no change.
Apparently, this is the backend for it.
There might be a plugin or something for this?
Not sure if Jira ever had it, but Confluence used to have a markup mode, they removed it. So yeahā¦
Yeah, but it wasnāt āmarkup modeā It was "insert your markup and weāll convert it to our dumbassery.
Finally got around to trying Nextcloud in a more serious way.
Is there any way to map filesystem permissions to the users? I integrated it into AD, but when I get it a local storage, it is read/writing via the www user. I wonder if its possible for it to actually get filesystem permission based on the AD login. Otherwise, I have to grant rw on everything to www which is not ideal for several reasons.
I really want to get back into this, but it seems that I just donāt have the right setup for it.
It went both ways though, how it was implemented I canāt say it might have done the translation both ways, which, while not ideal, is still better than not having it at allā¦
Bought a full set of caps from Unicomp for the new model F77. Was able to cover all but 4 keys. Pretend hyper is fnā¦
