I need help trying to find a decent smartphone that has at least a 5" 1080p display for 250 - 300USD. I was looking at the OnePlus X, but I heard of some issues with the bands in America. I have the ability to use GSM or CDMA, and I was wandering which would be a better choice; or if the phone is even worth it at all (by the way, I'm okay with no LTE).

Literally just bought a Nexus 5X last Friday for $249. Unfortunately I think the price has gone back up to $299 but still not a bad deal. It includes all North American bands for GSM and CDMA, I'm actually using mine on Sprint right now.
