Oh boy! I just ordered a 1950X Threadripper O_o

What temps are you getting with the Corsair AIO?

It idles at 30-35degC; I need to run some bigger loads to test warm-temp. I only got the temp-sensor stuff working today; will update shortly.

Impressive if you do not live in an igloo…

Aircon is running. Just ran a compile of Electron and temps hit 50Degc with all cores at 100%.

That is still very low for a monster like this. I’m actually a bit … surprised.

Well, it’s just default clocks, no OCing in UEFI apart from XMP on the memory taking it to 2666 MT/s. That said, I’ll get Windows 10 installed and run a host of stability testing there, as it’s harder to do this in Linux.

Suppose I like having CPU-Z, Aida 64, Prime 95, Ryzen Master etc etc to play around with on that front.
Not to mention Cinebench, 3D mark (with resolution dropped to 1080, so we bottleneck the GPU) etc

It’s also worth noting that getting the temp-data working takes a bit of effort too CC @wendell https://github.com/groeck/it87/issues/49

Head to the bottom!

Quick update, compiling Electron would push temps to 49degC. Not had time to run tests in Windows 10 yet.
