Here is an updated picture of my rig from a few posts ago. Installed a noctua l9a to silence some of the noise the stock AMD cooler was making along with a 140mm noctua fan. Also did quite a bit of cable management, but there is only so much you can do in a case that is less than a foot in each dimension(7.83" x 6.3" x 11.42"). All that is left is a little sound deadening and I have the perfect rig for getting work done.

Considering going with one of the corsair Hydro series like the h90 for extra silent. Normally, the noctua would be super silent, but in linux, the fan is running full blast and I haven't been able to get pwm controls to cooperate.

Damn, it's cute! Only needs dual PCI expansion slots and it would have been my choice for two upcoming builds...

Still waiting on the NZXT H440, Acer 24" IPS, G.Skill 2133 2x4gb Ram, and Lutro0 Telios sleeving

The ends of Motherboard cable, front panel connectors and the whole SATA cable and the CPU fan power cable has been painted black using a permanent marker.

Nice cable management. It looks quite clean. I made my PC "look" decent, but you will think otherwise once you take the right side panel off, and then try to put it back on again...

It was a bit difficult too to manage the cables in the N200 and then close the panel too, but yeah, once everything was organised, it was quite easy to put the side panel back in.

Cooler Master could have provided some extra space at the back for routing cables, but anyways it is all fine cuz it somehow worked.

I am happy with my first time effort. The best is yet to come.

CPU: AMD FX 8320

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Gigabyte Radeon 7870 2GB

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

PSU: Corsair CX 500M - I don't know what i was thinking going with a psu with such a low wattage it started with a budget and i did not look to the future so now i have to buy a new one till i make any more upgrades.

OS: Windows 8.1

Peripherals

Monitor: Asus VH236H

Mouse: Logitech G500

Keyboard: CM Storm QuickFire Ultimate - Brown Switches

I am aware the cable Management is awful. I am not very good at it.

I mainly use my rig for gaming, productivity, web surfing etc. (No editing or rendering as of right now). My cable management is downright abysmal so much that I should redo it, but all of my temps are surprisingly fine even when under load.

  • Intel Core i5 4670K
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
  • Asus Maximus VI Hero
  • 8GB GSkill Ripjawz 1866Mhz DDR3
  • Kingston Hyper X 3K 120GB SSD
  • WD Black 1 TB
  • Asus GTX 780 OC (I chose this over the 770 and 280x cos 3GB VRAM for hella mods lol and 280x is way overpriced)
  • Corsair AX 860w PSU (Got a great deal on this)
  • Dual Band Wifi Adapter
  • DVD Drive
  • Fractal Design Define R4
  • Windows 8.1
  • Asus 1080p 60Hz 24" monitor

Nice to see the activity

Intel core i7-2960XM 2.70GHz (factory default, when overclock around 3.7GHz, have achieved 4.8Ghz problem is i do not have a sufficient cooling system)

NVIDIA Quadro 3000M

LITEONIT LCT-128M3S  (128Gb SSD)

32GB of DDR3

Well Well Finaly my new case and cpu cooler arrived today!!!
