Odd resolution issue after upgrade

Upgraded my rig from a z97+4790k to 5900x+x570. Kept my 1080ti.

Brand new install of windows.

I can not get windows or nvidia panel to detect my 3 1440p panels as 1440p. All three show as 1080p. Custom resolution just scales it and monitors still report 1080p.

Running linux live usb gets the same thing.

I have reinstalled windows, updated all drivers and got nowhere.

Tried one monitor at a time, different cables, got nada.

Putting the GPU back in the old setup, monitors work at 1440p instantly.

Not sure what X570 you have but I take it that you are stating that the new AMD setup you have with the same GPU won’t detect 3x displays as 1440p whereas your older 4790k setup will right? Find your PCIe settings in your bios and change it from manual to Gen 3 see if that works.
