Turns out the UEFI firmware update from May is applicable to not just the 5060 and 5060 Ti ???

Officially, it’s for 5060 and 5060 Ti only. But some dude on the NVIDIA forum flashed his RTX 5080.

Has anyone tried this with their 50 series cards, outside of the officially supported models?
Doing this seems… “highly questionable” to me, since it’s not officially supported, but I’m curious if anyone experimented “for science” with this lol.

The 2.0 tool will wok on any 5090 and will also work on 4090, tested. I cannot comment on other models .

It’s straight forward and even if you don’t know, the menu will scan the card type and let you know if the update is applicable

Interesting! Did you compare the firmware versions before/after for the 5090 or 4090? I’m curious to know what exactly is updated by this tool. And if you’ve noticed any kind of improvements.
