Num/caps Indicator lights (Keychron K4 HE) not working when plugged into HID

KVM Model:

DP1.4 Single-Monitor, Two Computer

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

5-gigabit

Problem:

I have a Keychron K4 HE keyboard, and I’m using the 2.4 GHz dongle. When plugged into USB 3, it works as expected. But when I plug it into a USB-HID port, neither the numlock nor the capslock indicator lights work. Everything else appears to work just fine.

I would prefer to use the USB-HID port so that I have hotkey functionality. I’ve also submitted a bug report to Keychron, as it might just be a firmware issue for the keyboard itself.

Yeah this is usually a keyboard firmware-related thing. A lot of keyboards also require USB3 ports when the HID ports are only USB2. The only compatibility advise I have really is to make sure NKRO is off, but that usually causes the entire keyboard to not work.
