I bought the new Asus g14 Zephyrus gaming laptop with the 4900hs, rtz2060, and 16gb of ram and I want to upgrade the ram while ram is still cheap. It looks like there is 16gb of ram soldered and a free slot to upgrade? So I’m thinking I can buy a 16gb stick of laptop ram and have 32GB of ram. Does that sound right?
I was under the impression that if you bought the laptop with 16GB then it came with 8GB soldered and 8GB as a SO-DIMM, meaning you could only upgrade to 24GB
