Also the phone was all good specs for the money. The amazon version basically has malware on it.

I wouldn’t necessarily call @Kat physically having it in his hands a rumor.

Also, did your cousin buy the Amazon Prime version or the standard version? As Kat has mentioned, the Amazon Prime version is cheaper, but also has Amazon completely baked in to the entire OS. The standard version should be completely fine.
