So, I’ve been having problems with this monitor for a while now. And I even made a thread about it before here.
The problem is it constantly goes in and out of power saving mode in Display Port which is triggered by Signal Drops. The suggestion in previous threads was to disable audio drivers from AMD card, did that, and even disabled audio from the monitor side. That didn’t solve the problem. I even switched cables before that, and made sure they were properly plugged set. So I had to regress to an old driver. Updating the driver to any of the recent ones, the problem is persistent. That includes the 18.5.1, which I kinda really need because of it’s performance boost.
So during the couple of brief seconds that the screen stays ON, I checked the display section of Radeon Settings…
Could HDCP being disabled be the coulprit, or is just that normal? Cuz, I don’t know what else to do besides try out another GPU. Because the problem could either be the Monitor or the GPU at this point.
