NFS Copy without Network Transfer?

I am wondering if how to copy a file from one directory to another on the same zfs pool without having it run through my command and control computer. Meaning computer A (main desktop) uses nfs to copy a file on computer B to another directory without having the files transferring through Computer A.

Basically using explorer in windows or linux file manager copy but not have it actually run from Computer B to Computer A network and back to Computer B.

It appeared to work when I first got nfs working on windows. Like file copying was insanely fast, but not sure what changed with my setup. It seems to copy from computer B through A back to B. Which significantly slows down the process.

I would rather figure this out and not have to ssh into my servers everytime I need to duplicate or copy files.

This might be what I am looking for.

Mounting with nfs4 seems to have fixed it.
