Newbee Question - Uniq GPU Hosted

G’d Day,

New in the VFIO domain, i have a simple question before i start to have a look on this:

Is it possible to run on a single host, the nvidia proprietary (Version 440.100 at this moment) driver for linux to keep GPU performance on my linux (Fed32)
AND
the passtrough option and get vm guest (w10) performance also with only 1 GPU (2080TI in this case)
or
must have 2 GPU card inside my rig 1 for my native linux and 1 for my vm ?

You cannot do both at the same time.

It is possible to switch between them, although this requires extra scripting.
