Well 32 core TR does run significantly better under Linux but I wasn’t recommending OP go with that one. The 2950X is more than enough for his needs.
Was talking more TR on Zen2 then for OP, but yeah 2950 is probably better, but 1950x has been on sale for like $450 so its kinda hard to justify double price for what .2ghz more
