New gaming computer $1600

I'm wanting to build a computer that is only really going to be used for gaming and i'm just wanting to get some opinions of if its right or if I should get another part instead of what I have picked out.

Motherboard- Asus sabertooth z77     244.99

Cpu- Intel I5-3570k 3.4GHz w/ 6MB Cache     229.99

Gpu- Gigabyte GV-N6700OC-2GD GTX 670 2GB ram     $399.99 + Assasins Creed 3/Borderlands 2 Code

Memory- Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR3 1866MHz     89.99

Cpu cooler- Corsair Vengence H100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU cooler     79.99

Power supply- Corsair Enthusiast TX750m     129.99

SSD- Corsair Force Series 3 120GB     99.99

Case- NZXT Switch 810     189.99

I chose the motherboard I did because I have a GTX 480 that I bought a long time ago and I was going to use that as a Physx card and than I'd also have room to get a second GTX 670 down the road if need be.

Any help would be great first time building a computer rig. I am in Canada and all the products I choose are from either MemoryExpress or Newegg. After taxes and shipping the grand total is $1649.08

will the switch even fit an h100? and if your gonna do SLI, you want the HAFx, it has a gpu cooling duct, and is certified by nvidia for SLI. not to mention, it's strong enough that some people use them like step stools....

Change out that case to an arc midi. It's cheaper, and also instead of going with the 670, go with a 7970, cheaper and 1g more gddr5

I dunno, that 670 is a pretty good deal. two games currently valued around 100 dollars, so if you were going to buy those games anyway its like buying a 7870 or 7950 which a 670 will do just as well. Plus as he said he planned on using it for SLI and physix.

For the price I would get a corsair 650D instead of the switch.

the hafx has a gpu support and a gpu air duct built in

I am in no way saying the OP shouldnt buy a HAF X. But I personally do not like the styling of it and the plastic look and feel. So I just gave him my thoughts. I find the construction of corsair cases to be fantastic, high class feel for a good price.

Thanks for the info wasnt to sure on the case just looked nice and I like the window on it to show off the inside. The extra cooling on the gpu from the HafX is a nice idea I know my 480 can get pretty hot so anyway to keep that cool would be nice. And the 650d is a pretty nice looking case also sleek and minimal on the outside. I'll have to look at more cases and see which one works best for the set-up.

Yeah for sure. Figure out what style you like, then specs you want (Front USB 3 etc). Then most people here would be able to give an idea of what would look similar but perform better etc.
