Are these parts good for a mid-range build? Also, is the PSU overkill??
CPU- AMD FX8350
GPU- AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB (Will want to get another in Crossfire, but only if the PSU can handle it.)
Motherboard- AsRock 990FX Extreme3
RAM- Kingston 8GB CL9 1600Mhz DDR3 HyperX
PSU- Corsair HX1050 1050W
Case- Zalman Z11 Plus
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB (Will be looking to add an SSD in the future)
In advance thanks for any feedback, it's greatly appreciated. :)
whats your budget? what country are you living in?
Getting the WD Caviar Blue 500GB isn't worth it, you can get a 1TB for that price. Also, you should use PC Part Picker for any future builds because it shows the cheapest price you can get each item for on each website. http://www.amazon.com/WD-Blue-Desktop-Hard-Drive/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1372166483&sr=1-1&keywords=1tb+wd+caviar+blue

This is a good mid range build at 750. duncan 33303 also has a pc build on youtube using intel instead of amd. If you want to crossfire you are going to want a larger psu, but this will allow you to play most games on high for atleast a cuople of years.
