Need help with PSU and GPU compatibility

Hey everyone,

I just got a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Windforce OC SFF 12GB, but I was originally planning to buy an RTX 4070.I had already bought a PSU that I thought would be enough for the 4070.

Now I’m not sure if my PSU is powerful enough for the 5070 or if it has the right connectors. Could someone help me figure this out?

We need to need more:

What motherboard and CPU you have.

What other power drawing things are attached to the motherboard? Have you tried running your setup in a PSU calculator?

It’ll be fine. Just don’t do some crazy overclocking with the CPU!
You can use the 16 pin to 16 pin cable to connect the GPU to the PSU directly. This way it’s cleaner and you don’t need to use the adapter.
