Need help on a new pc build

i want to build a $650 gaming pc for christmas and i was wondering if you guys could tell me how good this build is

i will be gaming and surfing the internet and will be editing videos very rarely

At that price point I would rather go with intel.

what processor than for that price

Here you go.  Don't think it could have gotten any closer to exactly $650

really i have only gotten an intel core i5 3570k in a $900 build

Epicsniper for that price point you want and what you are using it for the 6300 is fine, I'm guess some Intel fanboys here? No reason to get the 3570k, hell the older 6100 will run all games out right now maxed out, if you can get the money though go with a 600TI and OC it and you can get close to the performance of a 670. The 7850 is fairly weaker than the 660 and considering you want to game I'd budget for a stronger gpu.

how about A10-5800K APU with a Asus F2A85-V PRO and a Radeon HD 7750 in hybid crossfire maybe

Also the MSI 660ti dont triple overvolt anymore soo it wont get the close to 670s anymore

um marky no thats dumb

I just modified yours a little. This will faster. A 7870 is faster than a 660 and is on par and sometimes beats a 660 Ti. OC it and it's nipping the heels of a 670 and 7950.

I changed the case, but you can get the Antec One if you prefer it. It's just a bit cramped IMO. You can't fit a 7970/ 7950 with an aftermarket cooler in it. With the Haf, you can, and when you can't, you can remove the modular drive bays to fit any card.

hey z what would you upgrade with $50 because my build is $650 and the games i want to play are battlefield 3 borderlands 2 minecraft

Add a small SSD for your OS for 50 bucks if you can find a deal

The builds here would all play them at max. The build I posted has around $50 extra after rebates. I'd buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo OR a CM TPC 812 which can be had for $50 after rebates. With either of those coolers, OC the 6300 for more performance.

I'd get the 1TB HDD and 7870 right now if I had the money. Or at least the card. It's a friggin' steal. Consider getting them now while they last.

well im hoping boxing day sales will help me save some money

what about this build http://pcpartpicker.com/ca/p/ptvX

That's pretty much the best build for gaming for the budget IMO( and if you plan on getting the rebates). Though you don't want to be doing multiple GPU configurations on that PSU.

ill just add a coolermaster extreme powerplus 700w

Post the link. I can`t really recommend Cooler Master PSUs, but at least it`s a reliable brand. Brands that i think are better though are Seasonic, Antec, Corsair and XFX.

That last one looks like a better deal. DirectCanada has them cheaper http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11180AC5838&vpn=CP-9020015-NA&manufacture=CORSAIR

so if i dont need a sound card i think this is the best build for now $675   http://pcpartpicker.com/ca/p/pvdd
