Need help configuring ADSL modem/router for IPoE connection

Hey all,

I need some help configuring my ADSl modem/router for a dynamic connection (IPoE). Them modem is a d-link DSL-2750u. I've got in to the providers supplied modem and have got the settings but can still not seem to get this modem to connect correctly. 

When i configure it in bridge mode it will connect to their side and show statistics but i still cannot connect to the internet.

What are you connecting the modem to? a router or your computer?

Well, in bridge mode it's not a router anymore. It can connect to only one device, and that device likely gets an IP and DNS/gateway information from the ISP through DHCP. Often a modem will only work with the specific device that was used when setting up the connection to the ISP. To update this might require simply a reset of the modem. It is difficult to diagnose the problem further without knowing more specific information about your configuration. If you could post details about the status of your connection, that would help identify the problem. If you can access a configuration page on the modem, screenshot any connection information you can find there. The detailed connection status on the computer will be useful, too. I'm not familiar with your specific modem (haven't looked at the manual yet) but I imagine you should be getting a public IP address assigned to the computer you have connected to the modem. Please also tell what operating system is on the computer, and describe the steps you took to set up your devices.
