Need help choosing a KVM switch to buy

I’m ready to purchase a quality KVM switch from LevelOneTechs and maybe replace a monitor.

I need guidance to make sure I buy the right thing.

I have:

2 computers and 2 monitors.

Computers:

1 new Dell XPS with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6x,

1 custom built PC with Sapphire RX460 2GB graphics card.

Both desktops have a DP but I can’t tell whether it is DP 1.2 or DP 1.4.

Monitors:

1 Dell 27" S2719DGF with DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 and 2.0,

1 Acer with DVI and VGA.

The Dell will be my main computer. I will only use Blue Yeti microphone and speakers on the Dell, but would like to share the keyboard, and mouse.

I use my computer for content creation, video editing, and online meetings. I also trade crypto. My eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be so I want quality monitors with clear text and images.

Have you considered adding a “spare” blank slot so that if a need arises, you have a slot ready? Maybe 3 PCs 2 monitors instead?

Both RTX 4070 and RX460 can do DP 1.4 (I checked the compare tool of Sapphire.

The DisplayPort KVMs are great, but just letting you know we also have KMs if that interests you? This would have you put 1 monitor per PC and then seemlessly switch between monitors to switch PCs
