So I just sold my xfx 7850 and I'm looking to buy another. I can only spend $200 so let the games begin!! I'm looking at the Gigabyte 750 ti and the MSI R9 270. Both come in under budget so I could p/u a new game as well but I'm not married to either card.
Neither of those is an upgrade, really. You're looking at, tops, 10% extra performance.
Well the 750Ti will be worse than the 7850 and the R9 270 is a 7850. So you really won't be seeing much of an upgrade if you go with either of those.
An R9 270X might give you a little bit of a boost but nothing to write home about. If you want more performance you're gonna have to save up a bit more and go with a GTX 760 (although that isn't much of a jump up either) or save up even more and get a GTX 770 or an R9 280X
