My current heatsink is too big and bulky.
heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Case: NZXT source 210 windowed
The heatsink rubs directly on the plexiglas.
I'm a bit hesitant on getting a closed loop cooler, but i'll consider it.
Any suggestions on a new heatsink that's less bulky, but performs on par or even better then mine?

take a look at some lo profile coolers like:
- Phanteks PH-TC14CS
- Noctua NH-C14
- Alpenföhn Gotthard Top Down
- Noctua NH-L12
They all cost more than the Hyper 212 EVO, but should match or better the performance in a lower profile.
the big 140mm phanteks heatsink will not fit in a source 210

You sure about that?
Was reading these benchmarks that used a NZXT Source 210 Elite http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/noctua_140mm_150mm_case_fan_roundup/5.htm

The Phanteks PH-TC14CS is the low profile model (your referencing the PH-TC14PE)
Heatsink Dimensions with Dual Fan = 160 x 151 x 140.5mm (LxWxH)
Heatsink Dimensions with Single Fan = 160 x 151 x 112mm (LxWxH)
