The only game I’ve really enjoyed that is in First Person is Alien: Isolation which is a masterpiece. I usually find it disorientating to to play in First Person and I think there I did too but for that game I was willing to overlook it as it really wouldn’t work without it.
But for anything where I immerse myself in it less and want to treat it more like just a game, it’s weird to just be this pair of arms that appears and disappears and nothing more. Give me something like Batman: Arkham City where I have a top down I can view and treat it as game.
Perhaps VR will change my views on this one day.
