Dude, you can go 2560x1440 144Hz with that card (27").

I COULD, but I have 1080p 144hz monitor, and I’ll get longer use for 1080p 144hz. Besides I love smaller monitors ~24 inch

Tho I may eventually get a third, 4k 60hz display for the games where IDC about fps, but just a prettier game

I have a question…
Don’t get me wrong, but you spent so much on that case, why didn’t you go with better motherboard? That Asrock Pro4 is not exactly… good…
My guess is you want to keep it small and that’s why you are sticking with matx instead of full ATX, but still…

Case was 120? And a very good case, was trying to order everything from Newegg just so it all shipped together (only thing that didn’t was the case and ordered the CPU from Walmart) and small form factor and the only other micro-ATX x570 Motherboard ok Newegg was like 260 dollars

Also I got that Asrock mobo on sale for 150
Edit:
Having looked at some reviews the board is pretty decent especially sense I got it in sale, and I don’t overclock so I should be good! Will probably do a bios update, we’ll see.

Finished build! Posted first time which was pretty hype, metro Exodus no longer runs at 30 fps and is instead at 130 ish, and OW is capped at 300. Really hyped, downloading the 642gig modern warfare lol.

CPU running kinda hot, 85c while gaming. Had to take the side panel off… APPARENTLY the 3000 series stock coolers suck butt so im gonna be getting an AIO and i’ll be upgrading the ram to 32 gigs of 3200 Mhz corsair vengence RGB. but reading forums and stuff the temps should be fine as long as they arent idling high as fuck, which they arent sense it’ll be a month or so before i wanna spend the almost 300 dollars on RAM + the AIO

I don’t see many fans in the case. I have 4 intakes and 3 exhaust moving hot air out. It might be cheaper to just buy some fans. =)

3700X + Vega 56 runs a bit hot… 40 degrees (Celsius) with a few browsers open. I can test if you want. My fans all run at about 20% until I need to ramp them up.

yeah it only came with one intake and one exhaust, i took out a case fan from my old case that im no longer using and put it as an intake, it def. helped but not a WHOLE lot. GPU temps are fine, CPU temps playing Overwatch was around 60-65c, which is fine but OW isnt hard to run lol

Cables aren’t great but I legit have no idea where to put the fan cables LOL

Heya @KastisDoesGames,

how do you like this board? I also have a small case and was thinking of paring it with a 3900x.

@kbdeamon I like it, no issues so far. Does everything i need it to do!
