Okay so after month's of endless waiting I'm going to finally start on my PC. I've waited quite a wile to start this and will be buying the first parts this week. It's going to take a few month's to complete but will be totally worth it once its done. Here is the parts list, tell me what you think about it.

CPU: i7-4790k

GPU: EVGA GTX980 superclocked

RAM: 16GB (2x 8GB sticks) Vengeance pro 1866Mhz (silver to match the motherboard)

HDD: WD 2TB Black 7200rpm 64MB cache

SSD: 2x Samsung 840 EVO 250GB in raid 0 (will be using the chipset for raid)

PSU: Corsair HX750i

MOBO: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark1

Case: Corsair 450d

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i

I'll add links to imgur gallery's as I make progress on the build so if you want to keep a eye on it bookmark this I guess. I should have it done in February of next year but my long awaited journey starts now.

    • Budget. How much are you willing to spend?
    • Where do you live (what country),  and what currency do you use?
    •   -Is there a retailer you prefer?
    • Do you need or already have peripherals? (this can add to costs)
    • What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC?
    • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking?
    • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future?
    • OS. Do you need a new one?
