My first build - 1000$

Hey. I want to build my first pc, and I have been researching a lot the last month and have come up with this build. I live in Denmark, so the price here is about 7700DKKr (about 1300$), where the price showed on pc-partpicker is about 1000$.

I have been thinking about getting the Asus P8Z77-V ATX LGA1155 Motherboard which is about 50$ more expensive, but includes Wi-Fi. Should I upgrade to this instead, or buy some other kind of wifi solution?

I want to be able to play BF3 and Skyrim on ultra-settings with this build. I might try overclocking later on, but it is not necessary. Do you think this build is strong enough for the task (or overkill), and do you think it fits together?

Lastly, do you think I should add an extra fan for the case?

Sorry asking a lot of questions, but I figured that it was better than just dumping a build ;)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Christian

If you are planing to overclock then get an Unlocked chip, for $9 dollars more you could get the i5 -3570k.

For battlefield 3 with everything high with FXAA High you will be getting aroung 50Fps.

For Skyrim you should be more thn good.

Here are some benchmarks http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549

Thank you for answer:) I might upgrade the processor, although here in Denmark, it costs about 30 dollar to upgrade to the 3570K. But I guess it's still worth it.

What wasn't worth it was getting a locked CPU with an aftermarket cooler.

As for the build, I'd say a job well done. I can't recommend Intel SSD's though( not because they're unreliable. It's very high-quality). Mind switching to something faster, like a Kingston HyperX 3, which is way faster?

Oh and if you really need WiFi, you should research on adapters to see if there's a cheaper option. Though I would prefer the built-in solution, as it saves me the hassle and makes it look more clean. Also leaves more space and airflow.

Thank you for the feedback.

I can see the logic in getting a unlocked version when I'm paying for an aftermarket cooler, so I'm gonna change to an 3570K and I'll probably also upgrade the mobo to an UD3H version (since the price difference is about 13 here in Denmark).

By intel SSD's I guess you're refering to the Samsung SSD right?

The Kingston hyperX 3 120GB I have is a tad more expensive (around 4$), and have 8GBs less, but I have no problem switching to something faster, so I tried checkin it out;

From what I'm reading, it isn't faster than the Samsung830 or CrucialM4 (I might actually switch to the Crucial, lookin at those numbers, since it's just a bit more expensive than the Samsung). But of couse the review could be wrong?

(as for the Wifi, it was mostly just for lan parties, so I'll just grab this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704045 (cost about 13$ in Denmark))

By the way. Is 620W enough for this build?

Yes

Thank you:)
